Well, after 5 days of hard work the craft room is almost complete. I have a bunch of organizing to do , but it is almost there. A special thanks to my cousin who put in countless hours sanding & painting. All of her hard work truely helped! We ROCK!!!!!!!! Photos coming soon.

Fall

Those of you who know me , know that I LOVE the Fall... Everything about it. It is the season that puts me in the mood to do everything I have put off the rest of the year. Cooking,cleaning, baking & Crafting. I love the cool crisp mornings & the shorter sunlight hours. My favorite is the Magestic changing of the leaves. It also is the beginning of my busy time of year. I am so excited to get this going in the NEW craft room. My family will be coming to town this weekend to help finish the project. Super excited to have them here with me , let alone finishing a job (that needed to be done over a year ago) So keep an eye out for the HUGE changes to come!!!

Another one of my obsessions is thrift store shopping! Went to town & found so many bargains @ 50% off. This is all after I found 3 dressers for 15.00... Whoo hoo I am a happy camper. Watch for the before & after pics. This is going to be FUN..... Better go hit the basement. Lots to do and a very important order to get shipped!

Super Excited !

I am super excited as to where Funky Threads has gone in the last week. Almost 100 new fans & delivered several orders this weekend during our trip home! Welcome to all the new FANS & customers. I will be introducing NEW merchandise this week, If I am Lucky... Taking a break today to catch up on Laundry, Housework & football practice. But... I am currently taking orders for Fall & Christmas. Even if you don't want your items RUSHED... I can take your order & get started for the Holidays. I am going to be making items for purchase at a local Boutique soon & filing my tax forms to do a couple of Holiday shows! Like I say... I am super excited about this... So tell all your friends & join me on my adventures!

Under the Weather.......

Not been feeling very well the last couple of days. Hope I can kick this soon. I have been in the basement working on orders going out this Saturday, as we join my family in Arkansas City for the LAST RUN. I am hoping to get to see all of my friends and family while I am in town & deliver orders as well . I should have pics up of the process & car show as time allows!

Oh What a BEAUTIFUL Day !

Working on the craft room! Just organized 181 spools of ribbon on the Amazing rack Calvin found yesterday! We had a great day shopping & Of course I got to stop into a thrift store!!! Great Finds.... We went out to eat & bought all the supplies to finish up orders from Cowley county Kids buy, sell & Trade... I will be delivering the this next weekend when I go home! Also 2 to be shipped. A friend of mine just text me with a picture of HUGE Foam squares she found for me & I am excited to see what my imagination comes up with for them!!! Stay tuned & I will share.... Hope you all have a blessed week.

TGIF

Finally Friday! Ever had one of those weeks that would never end? On the plus side, I Love this time of year! A couple of weeks ago my cousin sent me an afghan made by my Great Grandma Tom, so i have it wrapped around me finally beginning to relax after my Heart attack from Losing Dalton after school today!!! We went & had Ice cream (which makes all things better)... Time to go to the basement & craft I believe.... I will be making a trip to Wichita to get more supplies soon! And.....HOPEFULLY pick out the Paint for the BIG ROOM! I am so excited & really want this DONE! Thanks for joining me during my daily happenings!

What a week!

WOW!
So I needed a jump start & placed an add on Ktown ( a local ) page. Not much luck there.... But I did meet an amazing lady! 1 new VERY PLEASED customer is better the none! Right? So I got to thinking I go home (A.C.) quite a bit: So Low & behold I decided to post an add in the Cowley County Buy, Sell &Trade for kids! B I N G O ! What a response! I am drowned in Orders & I Love it. Best of all , they are things Calvin can help me do 8 orders in 2 days! YIPPPPEEEEE  At this rate maybe I can get my HUGE craft room done down stairs & go crazy with it?
Working in Kingman has sure helped me with TIME, so I am going to take advantage of that. I am doing the same work just different location. I Love it at Kingman High. Makes me remeber why I do this type of work.
I will try to keep up with this blog at least weekly!
